Step into the Deep Exhale container, where music, movement, and community come together. Marques Wyatt, the force behind LA’s iconic Deep-LA sound, teams up with Global transformational embodiment guide Cristi Christensen for an experience that flows from grounded to your fullest expression through movement.

After a period of stepping away for life’s bigger moments, Deep Exhale has slowly resurfaced at retreats at Esalen and festivals like Lightning in a Bottle.  Now, it returns home to Los Angeles for the first time in nearly three years. A true homecoming in the city where it all began.  Primal Moves is the perfect place to root down.

We’ll start with breathwork, meditation, and yoga led by Cristi, supported by an incredible lineup of live musicians designed to get you centered, open, and fully present.  Then… known for his aural alchemy, Marques weaves soundscapes infused with ancestral pulses and tribal influences from Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and beyond to get you in your bodies.

Featuring:

  • Marques Wyatt – Infectious Dance Rhythms

  • Cristi Christensen – Your Embodiment Guide

  • Masood Ali Khan – live hang drum, percussion, and vocals

  • DvineOne – sitar, percussion

  • Louis Hale – spoken word throughout the night

Come move, breathe, dance, and connect and be anchored by a crew of artists bringing the whole experience to life. No pressure, no expectations… just show up as you are.
